2022 is the first time ever we have celebrated Prize Giving twice in one year!
In February we put the clocks back to celebrate all achievements for the 2021 school year. Then we reset our clocks to focus on all the hard work done in the 2022.
What joy to reunite with our whānau and supporters in celebrating this time at Eden Park, an iconic location!
Matua Ōtene Reweti set the tone for our event by giving his blessings and sharing uplifting karakia. Our rangatahi performed powerful haka to honour their leaving tuākana (old leaders) and to welcome their new leaders for 2023 and sang beautiful Maori and Pasifika waiata with heart and soul.
A lot of hard work is required to make this kind of event possible. I would like to thank all those that helped and gave their time to make this day truly special.
We are so proud of all our rangatahi for their achievements in 2022!
Congratulations to all the recipients!
Mauri ora ki te katoa.
