The InZone Education Foundation is a New Zealand registered charitable trust that aims to enhance the educational outcomes of Māori and Pacific Island youth. We do this through providing the opportunity to access high performing state schools by establishing hostels within the school zones.
What We Do
The InZone Education Foundation was created to provide Māori and Pacific Island secondary school students with the opportunity to access some of New Zealand’s highest performing state/integrated schools, something they would otherwise not have been able to do without living in the right school zone.
How To Apply
Applications for 2019 are now open. Applicants to InZone should be advised that it is in their interest to apply well before the end of term 3. Enrolment interviews occur throughout term 3 and remain open until the kainga are full. The majority of interviews and offers of placement occur by the end of term 3.

Haere Mai, Welcome! The InZone Education Foundation is a New Zealand registered charitable trust that actively supports the education of young Māori and Pacific Island secondary students, in collaboration with two of New Zealand’s top state schools; Auckland Grammar School and Epsom Girls Grammar School. The foundation enables our Māori and Pacific Island youth to live and learn in a supportive, faith-based, culturally sensitive whānau environment, within the zones of the two schools. In this environment, we aim to support, inspire and empower our rangatahi to achieve to their full potential.
