INZONE ANNUAL CHARITY AUCTION 2014
InZone will be hosting on November 5th the InZone Annual Charity Auction 2014, our foundation’s chief annual fundraiser.  By means of this event, we hope to raise crucial funds to support the young Māori and Pacific Island students of our foundation.

As InZone is entirely funded by private donations, any support we can receive is welcome, whether financial, material, or in the form of volunteer time.  Events such as the InZone Charity Auction have allowed us so far to provide our 55 InZone boys with basic things such as schoolbooks, camp gear and financial aid for school fees.  They have further helped us cover InZone’s operational expenses.  In 2015, the chief goal for our Foundation is the opening of a second InZone hostel for girls studying at Epsom Girls Grammar.  The InZone Annual Charity Auction 2014 is therefore of huge importance to us.  It is thanks to altruistic generosity from the community that we will see the dream come true.

John Key has been called a political phenomenon. Having scaled the heights of one career, as a foreign currency trader, he came home from the world's financial capitals to start another. Six years after entering Parliament, Key was Prime Minister – the most rapid rise of a New Zealand politician in our lifetime. Despite a bruising 2014 election campaign, he led his government to a third term in office with an increased majority, cementing his high approval rating.
This lively portrait offers insights into Key's life, personality, political motivations and ambitions. Journalist John Roughan has secured unconditional access to Key and his family, as well as his closest advisers. Roughan examines how the twin ambitions of a boy in a state house, 'to make a million dollars and be Prime Minister' have been realised beyond his dreams, and how Key's instincts as a currency trader have shaped his politics. He reflects on the reasons for Key's continuing popularity and assesses his contribution to New Zealand's future.
